The Warren Rotary Club is proud to announce our celebrity judge participation from last year's annual Slice of the Valley Pizza Challenge last year. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the St Demetrios Community Center in Warren, Ohio from 4:30-7:30pm.
Mario Cashmere Manningham (born May 25, 1986) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent.
A native of Warren Ohio, He was drafted by the Giants in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
After receiving few opportunities in his rookie year, Manningham caught 18 touchdown passes the following three seasons, as well as three postseason touchdowns during the Giants' 2011-12 playoff run. Manningham won Super Bowl XLVI with the Giants, in which he caught a crucial 38-yard pass with under four minutes remaining to set up the Giants' game-winning drive, a very famous play in Super Bowl lore. Manningham later signed with the San Francisco 49ers and played two seasons with the team. He re-signed with the New York Giants on March 18, 2014. He played college football at Michigan.
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini (born Raymond Michael Mancini; March 4, 1961) is a retired American boxer. He held the World Boxing Association lightweight championship from 1982 to 1984. Mancini inherited his distinctive nickname from his father, veteran boxer Lenny "Boom Boom" Mancini, who laid the foundation for his son's career. Mancini is part of the 2015 class for the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Stan Boney is a veteran of Youngstown TV news. He was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, graduated from Ohio University and, after a brief stint in Dayton, arrived in Youngstown in 1979 to work for WYTV and never left. His first job with WYTV was weekend sports anchor. He later covered Trumbull County, before taking over the weather duties in 1981, a position he held for 30 years. In 2008, Stan became of the co-anchor of 33 News, and in 2011 gave up his weather job when he was named the anchor of 33 News at 5:30, 6 and 11 p.m. When he is not working, Stan enjoys reading, golf, and gardening. One of his goals is to visit as many National Parks as possible. He has a daughter Mollie, and lives in Boardman with his wife Debbie.
Derek Steyer is a News Anchor at WFMJ-TV in Youngstown, Ohio. He is the co-anchor of WFMJ Weekend Today. Derek began his journey into our living rooms at Arkansas State University. He majored in Broadcast Communications. In 1997 he was hired as the Sports Anchor at KAIT-TV in Arkansas. He remained at KAIT-TV until September 1999 when he was asked to be the Assistant Sports Director for WSFA 12 News in Central Alabama. He stayed at WSFA until August of 2013 when became a proud member of the WFMJ TV 21 News Team in Youngstown.
